Locally colder wind chills of 40 below are possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and southeast Montana. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM MST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills are forecast Tuesday morning. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
