For the Cold Weather Advisories, very cold temperatures and wind chills as low as 20 to 26 degrees expected. * WHERE...For the Freeze Warnings, communities along the immediate coast including Port Orford, North Bend, Bandon and Reedsport. For the Cold Weather Advisory, this includes locations in the Freeze Warning, as well as inland locations such as Coquille, Myrtle Point and Powers. * WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 9 AM PST Tuesday. For the first Freeze Warning, from 1 AM to 9 AM PST Tuesday. For the second Freeze Warning and second Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM Tuesday to 9 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.
